This program is designed for nurses, patient care techs, dietitians, social workers, pharmacists and other health care professionals who care for patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD/ESRD) in any of these settings: home, home health, hospice, skilled nursing facility, long term care, assisted living center, acute & chronic dialysis units, acute hospitals and other ambulatory care settings.  

Continuing Education Credit:

 

15.3 Contact hours for continuing nursing education have been applied for through the American Nephrology Nurses' Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

 

12.75 CPE's have been approved by the Commison on Dietetic Registration of the ADA under Program Number 069025 for Registered Dietitians and Dietetic Technicians.

 

Provider approved by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, Provider Number PCE 2993, for Contact Hours for Social Workers.

Special tours and events focus on the unique characters of the historic district.
