The "Kidney Care Quality and Improvement Act of 2005" was introduced in Congress in March 2005.
The bills (S. 635, H.R. 1298)will ensure quality care to Americans with kidney disease before complete organ failure
has occurred; as well as maintain the stability of the Medicare program that provides dialysis treatments for thousands with
end-stage renal disease (ESRD).
